R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds is a collaboration between R U OK? and Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds and aims to ensure people in the road transport, warehousing and logistics industries know when and how to meaningfully connect and genuinely ask, 'are you OK?'.
Life’s ups and downs happen to all of us, but those working in these industries can face unique challenges. Tight deadlines, long hours, shift work and isolation are all factors that can contribute to people feeling less connected.
A genuine chat can really make a difference when someone is struggling. This is something we can all do to help a mate or colleague feel connected and supported.
You don’t need to be an expert to ask R U OK? It’s not about solving their problem. Listening and showing that you care can go a long way.
We’ve developed FREE resources to equip everyone with the tools to organise your workplace events and encourage regular, meaningful conversations.
These resources are available to download from the Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds website and include: a conversation guide, an interactive workplace guide, real stories, social media tiles, activity sheets, videos and posters.
Together, let’s Ask R U OK? – No qualifications needed.
Because a conversation could change a life.
