Create a more connected world this Christmas

hello • 12 December 2019

With Christmas fast approaching, many are looking forward to enjoying the company of friends, family and food.

But for some, Christmas can be one of the toughest times of the year. A first Christmas since losing a loved one, money problems or relationship breakdowns are just some of the things that people might be dealing with while others are celebrating and making plans for family holidays and gatherings. Research conducted by Relationships Australia reveals that around a third of survey respondents often felt left out or isolated during the Christmas period.

That's why, as we approach Christmas, it’s even more important for us to regularly connect with people in our life who might be struggling. To help you do this we're encouraging you to do one thing every day that will help create a more connected world.

And if you want to share the list and get your friends and family join in, you can sing it to the tune of the carol "The 12 Days of Christmas":
