Neighbours TV show and R U OK? star
Rob Mills shares what being a good neighbour means to him ahead of this
year’s annual day of community and connection - Neighbour Day.
Everybody loves good neighbours! What
does being a good neighbour mean to you?
It means being community minded. Thinking of others and being a good person...
You know, “do unto others...”
Ramsay Street is a great example of a
connected neighbourhood. How do you think people can create their own Ramsay
Street?
Smile more. Hold the lift/door for someone. Lend a hand when someone is moving
in or out or just with their shopping bags... working bees. Ask how someone is.
Really ask.
Neighbour Day is on this Sunday 31
March. How will you be celebrating it?
I live in the city so, hopefully celebrating a Hawthorn Hawks victory at the
neighbouring MCG, and then catching up with some of my thespian neighbours from
the surrounding theatres in town.
