Events are a great way to bring people together face-to-face and online to connect and learn when and how to ask, “are you OK?” and lend support to the people in their world.
Champion the R U OK? message on local council assets like bus backs, digital screens and community centre noticeboards. R U OK? has print ready artwork that can be co-branded. Include R U OK? messaging in online and direct mail to residents. R U OK? can supply copy, newsletter snippets and artwork for your use.
An R U OK? Conversation Corner is a space to encourage meaningful conversations. Download our guide for tips and ideas to help you create one in your community.
R U OK? has a wide range of conversation starters to add a splash of yellow in your school, workplace or community. Proceeds from sales support our work to start more life-changing conversations.
R U OK? has translated key resources which can be used for residents who prefer to read information in a language other than English. These have been translated into 14 languages, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Arabic, Punjabi, Italian and Greek.
An R U OK? Culture in your workplace is one where everyone feels safe, supported and encouraged. Use the FREE R U OK? Workplace Champion resources to promote peer-to-peer support and regular meaningful conversations in the workplace.
R U OK? has a FREE online short course for workplaces. The interactive course is designed to help your staff learn when and how to ask “are you OK?” and respond appropriately and safely to anyone who says they’re not OK.
The resources listed below have been co-developed by NSW Council staff in collaboration with the Mental Health Commission of NSW and R U OK? Unless you are a NSW Council adding your logo and providing additional support services, these resources should not be altered, adapted or co-branded in any way.
