2024 with R U OK?

hello • 10 December 2024

Each year we hear from people about the impact that meaningful R U OK? conversations have on their lives. 2024 was no different.

Hailing from Tassie to the Top End, we've heard endless stories of people asking, 'Are you OK?', listening and supporting each other through life's ups and downs.

Our call to Ask R U OK? Any Day seeks to inspire regular conversations and year-round connections. Thank you to all who have championed this message in your workplaces, schools and communities.

The '2024 with R U OK?' video highlights some of this wonderful work being done across the country by our passionate community of supporters.

Holiday office closure

The R U OK? office will close for the holiday break from Friday 20 December through to Tuesday 7 January.

If you are experiencing difficult emotions during the Christmas/New Year period, please consider calling Lifeline on 13 11 14 for a confidential listening ear, any time of the day or night. If you are concerned for your own safety or that of others, please call Triple Zero (000).

You can also find information about support services on the R U OK? website here. We also encourage those who are well and able to find time over the holiday period to Give the Gift of Conversation to those in their world who might be struggling. You can find tips and resources to help you support someone here.
